Porter Black are a Folk band with modern influences and a clear grounding in Irish and British traditional Folk music. They specialise in Weddings, Festivals and Special Events. Previous experience, with other bands, include Folk Festivals (Sidmouth, Purbeck Valley, Wessex, Wimborne, Trowbridge and Folk on the Quay), Beer Festivals (Farnham, Badger Brewery and Drop the Anchor Brewery) and national shows (Great Dorset Steam Fair, Newforest Show and Gold Hill Fair).

 

Whilst based in Dorset, Porter Black are happy to travel throughout the UK. A core band of 3, they work with a number of quality musicians that they can call on if you're looking for something bigger or have a specific sound in mind.
